Person in Michael Myers mask fatally shoots man in his garage on Halloween, TX cops say
Gunshots rang out in a Texas garage while two children were inside the home on Halloween night, deputies said.
Harris County deputies found a man lying unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds in the garage of his Houston home with no suspect nearby.
Officers scoured security footage from neighboring homes and identified a person wearing a Michael Myers mask as a suspect, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The masked person was seen walking around the area that night, deputies said. Neighbors also reported hearing the gunshots.
The two children in the home were unharmed, according to deputies.
The motive of the shooting is unknown. Deputies noted that the children’s mother, the man’s “estranged wife,” was killed in August.
The children were released to their grandmother, according to deputies.
Officials have not identified the suspected shooter.
