‘Gossip Girl’ star lets pictures say a thousand words, announces surprise pregnancy
“Gossip Girl” actor Ed Westwick left fans speechless with his latest announcement.
And no caption was needed.
The 37-year-old, who tied the knot with actress Amy Jackson, 32, just two months ago, took to Instagram to share a series of celebratory photos with his now-wife sporting a burgeoning baby bump.
Westwick and Jackson are expecting their first child together.
In the maternity photoshoot, Westwick is wearing a plain white tee tucked into black pants, while Jackson is wearing a strapless white gown.
In one of the photos, Westwick has his hand on Jackson’s baby bump as she caresses his neck. Another photo shows Westwick smiling as he stares at his wife’s belly.
The joint post comes just one week after the couple shared photos from a date night in Paris.
They were also spotted in London on Oct. 30, just one day before making the baby announcement. Again, Jackson concealed her baby bump with all-black attire, according to Page Six.
The baby will be Westwick’s first child, but Jackson’s second child after welcoming a son, Andreas, in January 2019 with then-fiancé George Panayiotou.
Jackson sparked rumors of a breakup between her and Panayiotou in July 2021 after deleting all photos of them together on her Instagram, according to the Hindustan Times.
Several months later, in the fall of 2021, she met Westwick at the Silverstone race track at an Aston Martin event, the actress told Lifestyle Asia last year.
Westwick approached her and asked what she was doing that weekend, to which Jackson replied, “House hunting in Hampstead.” Westwick knew the area well, so he invited her to a dog-friendly coffee shop.
“He knew how to win me over from the get-go…coffee and dogs,” Jackson told the magazine.
By June 2022, the couple appeared to go public with their relationship after Jackson posted a photo of them together on Instagram.
They made their red carpet debut the following month at National Film Awards, according to People.
Then, in January 2023, Westwick proposed. They shared a joint post on Instagram that showcased the moment she said “yes.”
The couple tied the knot Aug. 23 in a lavish Italian wedding at the Castello di Rocca Cilento, near the Amalfi coast.
