Kylie Jenner is opening up about how her life has changed since having her first child at 20 years old.

“I haven’t had a baby in a few years,” she said in an Oct. 23 cover story for Elle magazine. “The first part of my twenties was having children, learning what my personal style was and then losing it. Not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies.”

The 27-year-old shares two children with ex Travis Scott. They welcomed a daughter, Stormi Webster, in February 2018 and a son, Aire Webster, nearly four years later in February 2022.

But while it took her a year to “feel like myself again,” she’s at a much better place now, she said during her interview with Elle.

“At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever,” she added.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder went on to describe getting pregnant at 19 years old as “shocking” with the changes happening to her body.

“All these new stretch marks and things that I didn’t have before,” she told Elle, adding that her postpartum depression made her feel like she “was on autopilot.”

She praised her support system for helping her through those “dark times,” and shouted out her mother, Kris Jenner, and sisters, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé, for modeling “working motherhood” for her.

And she gave an extra special shoutout to Khloé for babysitting her children when she’s out of town.

Kylie also talked about how her social media habits have changed since becoming a parent, and shared her thoughts on her children having social media accounts of their own someday.

“It’s no socials for as long as possible,” she said, per her interview with Elle, joking that she hopes they wait “until they move out of the house” before joining social media.

“Stormi will come home and she’ll know full TikTok dances. I’m like, ‘Where did you learn this?’” she added.

As for her own social media habits, Kylie says it’s “hard to keep up with the internet now” and described it as “exhausting.”.

“I wasn’t working as much; I didn’t have kids and just had more time,” she said of her old habits. “If you’re not posting three times a day on TikTok, you fall behind.”

Nowadays, Kylie doesn’t have the time to post 24/7. In fact, she admits to deleting her socials from her phone for a week from time to time “in the interest of being present.”

But despite her unique path in life, Kylie wouldn’t change a thing.

“I have to give my younger self grace. I don’t like to have too many regrets in life. I think my path is what got me here today,” she said during her Elle interview. “I’m happy with where I am and just have to keep moving forward.”
