A gambler hit a slot machine jackpot in Las Vegas with just a couple of quarters.

The lucky player won $11,701.17.

The visitor sat at a Smokin’ Hot Stuff slot machine at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, the casino said in an Oct. 21 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The person bet 50 cents, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a winning message appeared.

“Hey, Hot Stuff! You are a WINNER,” the casino wrote.

Another gambler got lucky at the same casino.

The guest bet $5 on a Dragon Link slot machine and won $12,739.

Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall is about a 10-mile drive east from the Strip.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
