Country music star Brantley Gilbert rushes off stage as wife gives birth on tour bus

In what Brantley Gilbert is calling “the craziest night of my life,” the country music star became a dad of three.

According to the singer, while he was on stage in Mississippi, his wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, went into labor with their third child.

In a video shared to Instagram, Brantley Gilbert highlighted how it all went down. He was in the middle of his show when he was called off stage due to an emergency.

He learned that Amber Gilbert had gone into labor. As video shows him running out to his tour bus, it flashes to Brantley Gilbert calling his mom on the phone telling her she has a new “grandbaby.”

Amber and Brantley Gilbert shared black and white photos and videos of their newborn baby boy.

“I know she is, she’s amazing, she’s absolutely amazing,” Brantley Gilbert’s mom said of Amber Gilbert.

Hilariously, Brantley Gilbert ends the call with his mom, saying, “Well, I’m going to go finish this show and I’ll FaceTime you after.”

Video shows Brantley Gilbert returning to the stage, telling his audience, “We got a baby!”

In the caption, he wrote, “So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget.”

“Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”

This is the couple’s second son. They are also parents to 5-year-old Braylen and 6-year-old Barrett.
