Estate built for NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s size lists in California. See it
As most NBA fans know, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is one of the most legendary players to ever set foot on the hardwood and a polarizing figure in the sports world. So, naturally, he’d have an estate that’s just as massive as he is.
And his former residence — one that was specifically designed to suit the ex-Los Angeles Lakers center’s 7-foot-2 frame — has landed on the market in Marina del Rey, California, for $2.995 million.
According to a news release, the four-bedroom, three-bathroom estate is packed with custom features such as enlarged doorways that were designed for Abdul-Jabbar when he lived in the home from 2011 to 2021.
Other features include:
Gated security
Den
Chef’s kitchen
Side garden patio
Formal dining room
Private primary suite balcony
Over-sized car garage

“This property offers privacy and a location par none for Marina and Beach living. Walk to Traders Joe’s, Abbott Kinney, and exceptional Restaurants all within a short walk,” the listing on Compass says.
Abdul-Jabbar played for the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles during his 20 seasons in the NBA and was a member of six championship teams among his plethora of awards and honors.
The listing is held by James Allan.
