On Sept. 6, Paralympian Hunter Woodhall hit the starting blocks for the men’s 400-meter final.

Hunter is the husband of Olympic gold medalist Tara Davis-Woodhall, who became a long jumping champion in Paris a few weeks ago.

You may remember this viral moment from the 2024 Paris Olympics when Tara jumped into Hunter’s arms after she won the gold medal. Take a look:

Soon after, the husband and wife became fan favorites. Commenters praised their marriage and the support they show each other.

Now, it’s Tara’s turn.

On Friday, Hunter was the first to cross the finish line during the men’s 400-meter final, making him a Paralympic champion.
