Wendy’s puts saucy twist on a menu favorite. Here’s when you can get them
A Wendy’s “cult favorite” is getting a saucy new spin.
Saucy nuggs arrive June 10 at Wendy’s restaurants nationwide, though customers can get a first taste when they order online starting June 3, according to a news release from the Ohio-based burger chain.
A twist on its crispy chicken nuggets, the bite-sized pieces “are freshly tossed and sauced” and served with ranch or blue cheese for dipping, a product description says. Customers can pick from seven flavors.
They are:
- Honey BBQ
- Spicy honey BBQ
- Garlic parm
- Spicy garlic parm
- Buffalo
- Spicy buffalo
- Spicy ghost pepper
“Wendy’s chicken nugget fandom is truly unrivaled, so it was only natural for us to level up our iconic Nuggs with even more flavor for our fans,” Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. chief marketing officer for The Wendy’s Company, said in the release.
Saucy nuggs will be available to order in-store, in the drive-thru and online in a variety of sizes, including 4, 6, 10 or 20-count, the restaurant said.
