Britney Spears is admitting she’s going through a difficult time in her life.

Spears’ recent Instagram post comes about six months after she announced her divorce from Sam Asghari in August 2023. The former couple, prior to their separation, were together since 2017

Warning: The linked Instagram post includes explicit language.

In her Instagram post, Spears summarized the recent tropical vacation she was on. She talked about not having motivation in the gym, riding bikes with friends, playing tennis and almost losing her phone.

Spears talked about “people making fun of” her because she uses a ring light while filming her Instagram videos before saying her favorite part of the trip was “being naked in the water.”

But as Britney Spears continued, the more unnerving her message got. The former pop star told her followers that she has changed her “name to XILA.”

She then admitted that, “I actually am having a hard time understanding English.”

Spears then shifted gears, again, talking about the clothing she brought on the trip, how she enjoys eating dinner by herself and her love of Oribe hairspray. She went on to talk about the tattoo that’s on the back of her neck.

“The back of my neck is written in Hebrew extremely tiny ... Mem Hei Shin ... it means the power to heal!!! It comes from the 72 names of God in Kabbalah which I studied a long time ago !! I should probably start studying it again,” Spears added.

By the end of her statement, Spears told her followers that “there are a lot of other things that happened on this trip that I’m not sharing as well ... nothing is what it seems sometimes.”

“I portray that everything is completely perfect but trust me l’ve been through it as well,” Spears continued. “I would share those struggles but they are too offensive to share ... it would make other people extremely sad and honestly there’s not a (explicit) thing I can do about it so just know my life is not as perfect as it seems ... and remember my beautiful friends you’re not alone.”
