Swiftie literally ghosts boss for Eras tour merch. See ‘Anti-Hero’ inspired disguise

Screen grab from Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video

A clever Taylor Swift fan just became every Swiftie’s hero by donning a disguise straight out of the pop star’s “Anti-Hero” music video.

An anonymous woman wore a sheet over her head with glasses on her face to disguise herself as the ghost from the music video after she called off work to score some of the most valuable Eras Tour merchandise on Thursday, June 29, in Cincinnati, Ohio, WKRC-TV reported.

“I condone calling in sick in the name of @taylorswift13,” Annie Brown — a reporter at the station — said on Twitter. “Caught up with some Swifties — who shall remain anonymous — who skipped out on work to wait in line for Taylor Swift merch this morning.”

The fan told Brown she drove almost two hours in from Louisville, Kentucky, to wait in line for the coveted gray quarter zip, which is not sold on the singer’s online merchandise shop.

I’d let her off work, seems important,” someone commented on the clip of her interview on the station’s Facebook.

Several joked that she risked her boss recognizing her voice from her interview.

Another Swiftie shared a still from the singer’s “Anti-Hero” music video showing the ghost characters sitting at a kitchen table. “Live look at her parents watching the evening news tonight,” they joked.

Others shared their disbelief at her disguise given the toasty weather Thursday.

“Let’s hope when the blanket girl goes down from heat exhaustion, the paramedics didn’t play hooky,” someone wrote.

Some said the disguise reminded them of Cousin Itt from “The Addams Family” series.

Do what you gotta do,” someone said on Twitter.
