A Maryland mother of four won $11,000 during a winning streak at a casino. Hours later, she won $100,000 with a lottery instant ticket.

The Princess Anne woman, 31, had already scored big after experiencing a 12-hour-long lucky streak at Ocean Downs Casino where she walked away with $11,000, according to a March 1 news release by the Maryland Lottery.

The woman left the casino around 1 a.m. and bought the $30 winning $100,000 Extreme Cash instant ticket at Thirsty’s convenience store at noon, lottery officials said.

“I was still wearing the same clothes. I guess those clothes are lucky,” she said in the release.

She called the moment she won “surreal” and told lottery officials she starting jumping around.

The woman, a certified nursing assistant who works 12-hour shifts, told lottery officials the scratch-off caught her eye because it was pink.

“I just bought that scratch-off because it stood out to me and pink is my favorite color,” she told lottery officials.

She plans on using some of the winnings to visit her son, who lives in China, who she isn’t able to see often, officials said. Her winnings will also go toward furthering her education.

Thirsty’s will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, according to the release.

Princess Anne is about 140 miles southeast of Baltimore.
