A second grader busted out his dance moves at his California school’s Christmas show, spreading the cheer among the audience and across the country after the video went viral.
A parent at Beechwood Elementary School in Menlo Park shared a video of the kid dancing his heart out at the second grade Christmas concert on Wednesday, Dec. 14. “Best performance I’ve ever seen!!!” she wrote on the video.
The clip shows him mingling classic dances with some TikTok moves, Today reported. Parents in the crowd go wild, cheering him on as the rest of the kids belt out the lyrics.
“I feel it come into my body and just want to dance and all that stuff,” the dancing king told KNTV. “I love dancing. It’s in my blood. I just want to make them happy and wonderful.”
The video racked up more than 700,000 likes since the parent shared it. It even caught the attention of San Francisco’s football team because the boy was decked out in 49ers gear during the show.
“Ok Jaden!! We see you!” the team’s account wrote in the comments.
The shoutout prompted social media users to urge the team to invite him and his family to a game, show his dancing on the stadium’s Jumbotron, and even hire him to dance during a halftime show or in a commercial.
“Yeaaa niners noticed my lil cuz,” one user wrote, claiming to be the boy’s older cousin.
Some encouraged viewers to donate to Beechwood Elementary, a small nonprofit school, “so that music and art classes can thrive and continue to bring holiday concerts like this one.”
Another comment said the boy is just as talented on the field, and the school could use more athletic equipment.
A teacher at the school shared that the boy shows that much personality in whatever he takes on.
“As a teacher who interacts with Jaden at Beechwood pretty regularly, I can confirm that he has this much personality all the time,” she wrote in the comments.
