A huge compound that has hit the market in the Grand Canyon state for $16 million has managed to turn heads on a popular real estate social media page.

The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom estate stretches over 16,800 square feet and was modeled after the Italian villa that was J. Paul Getty’s 17th-century mansion, an estate that was converted into a 19-bedroom hotel in 1990, Robb Report noted.

“Corporate Retreat, think-tank influenced by the Getty Villa outside of Rome, right here in Paradise Valley, Arizona,” the listing says. “The architectural precision, quality of workmanship, construction and attention to detail is unsurpassed. Handcrafted by artisans using the finest imported materials, right here onsite under the supervision of noted designer Juan Sandoval.”

The estate comes with an abundance of features, including:

  • Huge salt water pool

  • Two courtyards

  • Fireproof walls in each bedroom suite

  • Wine Cellar

There’s also room in the 2,700-square-foot basement for “a theater and gaming range,” the listing says.

The home caught the attention of Zillow Gone Wild, a Facebook page and Twitter account that highlights unique houses for sale all over the country, and some fans didn’t really know what to think.

“Finally, a home I can host some sick laser tag tournaments in and also hunker down with 10,000 bottles of wine or so to ride out the zombie apocalypse. Function and style 10/10,” one person joked.

“New game: Mansion or mall?” another said.

“I think I got lost. Did I miss the bedrooms? I saw closets, just toss a bed in there?” someone asked.

“It always blows my mind when I see houses this big with only five bedrooms,” one person commented.

“This is totally my style. Just need to get my groceries delivered and I’d never leave home!” another exclaimed.

“The aerial view had me thinking I was looking at a community college,” someone said.

“That is a lot of swiffering,” one person noted.

“On the next season of ‘The White Lotus’,” another tweeted.

“This looks like an expensive rehab in a horror movie about rich white people,” someone said.

“I love small, cozy spaces. But if I were to go big, the semi-Italian villa look is how I’d go. Love the courtyards,” one person tweeted.

Paradise Valley is about 5 miles north of Scottsdale.
