Meet Annie Rose, the therapy dog from Ohio who will serve as this year’s Cadbury Bunny
The torch has been passed, and a new pet has been crowned this year’s Cadbury Bunny, Hershey announced.
Annie Rose, a therapy dog from Ohio, will be stepping up to wear the bunny ears for this Easter season.
After a strenuous voting competition, Annie Rose will be the fourth-annual pet to star in the Cadbury Clucking Bunny commercial. She was able to rake in thousands of votes from fans across the country.
The adorable pooch from Cincinnati is no stranger to superstardom, The Hershey Company said in a news release announcing her victory. Annie Rose spends her days in Ohio visiting nursing homes, and she even has a tireless work ethic to boot.
“When COVID-19 restrictions meant no visitors at nursing homes, Annie Rose didn’t give up, she worked even harder, dressing up and strutting her stuff outside the nursing home windows instead,” the company said.
The English doodle loves to bring smiles to her adoring fans, and starring in this commercial will be nothing different, according to a sneak peek of her silver-screen debut.
Along with the role in the commercial showcasing the Cadbury eggs, Annie Rose gets to take home a prize of $5,000.
“Annie is not a therapy dog to just nursing homes,” Annie Rose’s owner wrote in a Facebook post. “She is a therapy dog to all of us. God has a hand on this big fluffy girl.”
