A cheery mother surprised her TV reporter son while he was at work, and luckily his cameraman kept rolling to capture the wholesome moment.

Myles Harris, a news reporter for ABC 6 and FOX 28 in Columbus, Ohio, was shooting a segment over the weekend when all of a sudden he was interrupted. He raises his hands before looking straight into the camera.

“It’s my mom, hold on,” the reporter tells the cameraman.

The mother drives up behind her son, and it’s easy to tell how excited she was to see him.

“Hi, baby!” his mom, Sandi, yells out from her open window as she waves at Myles.

She even greeted Harris’ cameraman, DeAngelo Byrd, before blowing a kiss and driving off to carry on with her day.

“Typical Sandi...” Harris wrote in his Instagram post, which has nearly a half million views as of Wednesday, Feb. 23.

Byrd also shared the video on Instagram, calling it “the best moment of 2022.”
