Take a look at beachy home of Jimmy Buffett’s eldest daughter that sold for $2.85M

The beachy Florida hideaway of Jimmy Buffett’s eldest daughter sold for $2.85 million after being on the market for the first time in 15 years, according to Compass real estate firm.

Casa Flamingo, located on Miami’s Belle Meade Island, features 75 feet of water frontage and “beautifully curated Old Florida charm,” according to the marketing literature. The four-bedroom, three-bath residence spans 1,996 square feet on over a quarter-acre.

The home’s pine flooring was locally sourced from Dade County and there are original tiles in the bathroom, as well as a relic from the 1950s — a telephone room.

Savannah Buffett, 42, bought the home in 2006 for $1.375 million, according to Mansion Global. The house was built in 1949. Located across the bay from the wild partying that goes on in South Beach, Belle Meade Island is known for its calmer vibe.

“Many musicians, artists and celebrities have passed through the doors always leaving inspired and bathed in the glow of good vibe the home emits,” Savannah Buffett told the real estate website. “Casa Flamingo is both picturesque and the ideal of tranquility nestled in an urban environment.”

She said manatees and dolphins have been spotted swimming along while people have sipped coffee or cocktails in the backyard.

Savannah Buffett, who traveled the world with her father as a kid, told Elle magazine in 2012 that “Florida has always had a special place in my heart.

“When I was a kid, (my father) used to take me out on the boat in Key West. We would fish and explore the mangroves and all the amazing wildlife,” she told the magazine.

Savannah Buffett hosts the “Savannah Daydreamin” radio show broadcast online and on SiriusXM satellite, and is part of Radio Margaritaville.

Jade Kalbacher of Compass represented the buyer. Sarkis Anac of Global Realty represented the seller.

Known for his laid-back island-vacation music, Jimmy Buffett, 74, and his Coral Reefer Band have recorded many hit songs, including “Margaritaville” and “Come Monday.”
