‘Kind of weird’ Illinois house has Zillow Gone Wild intrigued. Take a look around
A very unique house that’s hit the Chicago real estate market has a popular Facebook page talking. Listed for $750,000, this hand-crafted house has some pretty fascinating decor all over that you have to see to believe.
“This AMAZING Investment/AirBnb property is one for the books. It is not only magical and pure fun, it’s more than that!” the listing on Zillow.com says. “It is one of the first 40 homes of Chicago’s first residential landmark district. This magical property was renovated down to the studs.”
The creative two-bedroom, three-bathroom home is a bundle of creativity around every corner of its 2,275 square feet, so much so that the listing describes the property as an “Instagram-worthy” place with hand-painted walls, hand-laid mosaics, jewel-tone art glass, expansive Moroccan themes all around and more, the listing describes.
The house caught the attention of Zillow Gone Wild, a popular Facebook page that takes aim at interesting homes on the real estate market.
“The Morton’s salt girl is super fun,” one fan said. “I love it.”
“I’m in for the stove, the fireplace and the van Gogh,” another gushed.
“Love, love, love this house,” another said. “I wonder why the price is so low. If it’s haunted, I bet the ghosts are really interesting and quirky.”
“This is the kind of weird I like,” one person said. “I would totally live here.”
“I’m not usually one for super bright colors.... but honestly, I absolutely love this!” another exclaimed. “And I was sold instantly once I saw that beautiful stained glass.”
“I unironically love this entire house,” one fan said. “I am so tired of white/gray/beige walls. And I kind of need a Turkish bath.”
