Hey, graduates! You can get free doughnuts at Krispy Kreme Tuesday. Here’s how
Graduation ceremonies may have been canceled, but Krispy Kreme wants to help cheer up grads with a sweet treat — free doughnuts.
On Tuesday, high school and college graduates can get a “Graduate Dozen” for free by wearing their 2020 swag, including a cap and gown with a 2020 tassel, a letterman’s jacket, a Class of 2020 shirt or senior ring to their local Krispy Kreme, the company said in a news release.
Grads can also bring a graduation announcement and matching I.D. or a student I.D. that shows their senior status, the release said.
“We feel for all of the high school and college seniors. We wish they had that moment of walking across the stage and getting their diploma,” chief marketing officer Dave Skena said in the release. “We can’t replace that … but we thought we could help them safely have a little fun and enjoy a special ‘Graduate Dozen’ on us.”
The Graduate Dozen features an assortment of doughnuts, including cream-filled with both chocolate and strawberry icing, cake batter-filled and original glazed all decorated especially for 2020 grads, the release said.
Not a graduate yourself?
The Graduate Dozen is available for purchase until May 24 for drive-thru, delivery or door-side pickup, the release said.
