Chipotle wants to give you free food, hockey fans. Here’s what you need to know

Calling all hockey fans! Chipotle wants you to “suit up and score” some free food this week.

To celebrate Hockey Week Across America, Chipotle is offering a buy-one, get-one entree deal to anyone who wears a hockey jersey into the restaurant on Friday, the company said in a news release.

Buy one entree and you’ll get one of equal or lesser value for free. The deal is also valid on kids’ meals, the release said.

Chipotle is an official sponsor of USA Hockey and also teamed up with the organization to share the go-to orders from top skaters Charlie McAvoy, Hilary Knight, Jack Hughes and Kendall Coyne Schofield, the company said.

Here’s what the greats like to order:

  • Charlie McAvoy Bowl: white rice, black beans, chicken, fresh tomato salsa, tomatillo green-chili salsa, cheese, lettuce and guac
  • Hilary Knight Burrito: fajita veggies, brown rice, pinto beans, tomatillo green-chili salsa, cheese and guac
  • Jack Hughes Bowl: brown rice, steak, black beans, cheese, lettuce, vinaigrette
  • Kendall Coyne Schofield Bowl: white rice, chicken, fresh tomato salsa, sour cream, lettuce and guac

The special menu items will be available to order on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com until Sunday, according to the release.

BOGO deals are limited to 10 free items per check. The offer is only valid in-store and can’t be redeemed for catering, online, mobile or delivery orders, Chipotle says.
