Watch this man follow a great white shark on his paddle board
Mario Guilin's paddle board ride wasn't like many others.
For starters, the Santa Barbara paddle boarder followed a great white shark . Secondly, the encounter was quite peaceful—almost like synchronized swimming.
Drone footage from the waters of Carpinteria, California shows Guilin paddling toward the shark. They get close —a few feet away— and then drift apart.
Then it happens again and again.
It's unclear how long the encounter lasted.
