Alabama woman escapes from kidnapper's trunk
Chilton County police in Alabama have released surveillance video from a gas station that they say shows a kidnapping victim jumping out of the trunk of a car and running inside for help.
The search for the kidnapper began on Monday, October 30, 2017, after the victim reported she was choked while sleeping by a man demanding money.
The suspect then tied the victim's hands and put her in the trunk of a car before she was able to escape at the gas station parking lot.
The suspect, 36-year-old Timothy Jabbar Wyatt, was later found sleeping inside an abandoned building and was arrested without incident.
