Video of Texas State pool party brawl goes viral
A pool party at an off-campus housing complex near Texas State University over the weekend got out of hand when a bunch of college students began punching and hitting each other, sending at least one person into the water with a splash — and it was all caught on video.
The 45-second video, posted by @WhiteBoy_Ejyay on Twitter Saturday, had gone viral by Monday.
The fight, the student said in his post, was at Capstone Cottages in San Marcos, which is about two miles from the university.
The video begins with a young man in a tank top taking a swing at a shirtless party-goer. That man then hit someone else, who winds up in the pool. Other pool-goers then get involved.
Meanwhile, the crowd can be heard cheering in the background.
The San Marcos Police Department told the New York Daily News that they have no reports of the fight.
