How embarrassing! adidas misspells ‘Colombia’ in Copa America ads
A spellcheck-proof goof has adidas apologizing to the Colombian Football Federation.
#Fail! Since Adidas sponsors ColOmbia, you'd think they might know how to spell it. pic.twitter.com/th7OHppOfV

It’s not “Columbia.” It’s “Colombia.”
adidas offered a statement Tuesday: “We value our partnership with the Colombian Football Federation and we apologize for our mistake. We removed these graphics and are quickly installing new versions today.”
Colombia has been sponsored by adidas since 2011, according to The Associated Press.
This surely isn’t the first time a major athletic apparel company has messed up the spelling of various teams. Nike spelled “Kentucky” wrong on John Wall’s jersey in 2010 and misspelled “Seattle” on a Seahawks sweatshirt in 2013.
