A Publix in South Florida sold Monday’s only big money lottery jackpot winner
Three drawings were among Monday’s two major money Florida Lottery draw games, Fantasy 5 and Powerball.
The one winner wasn’t from the Fantasy 5 midday draw or the Monday night Powerball pull. That jackpot will be $238 million on Wednesday.
But the Fantasy 5 evening drawing came up 6, 8, 14, 17 and 24, matching the numbers chosen by a player at a Pembroke Pines Publix, 1657 N. Hiatus Rd. That’s a $109,962 hit of financial fortune.
This ticket must be redeemed at one of the Florida Lottery district offices. The office closest to Pines is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., which is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments, which aren’t required, can be made at MIARC@flalottery.com or 305-364-3080.
