A Publix and a Miami supermarket sold Wednesday’s lottery jackpot tickets
Wednesday’s big money Florida Lottery draw games — Powerball, Fantasy 5, Florida Lotto — produced extreme financial happiness for players at a Miami grocery chain and Florida’s signature supermarket chain.
Neither they nor anybody else hit the necessary numbers for the Powerball jackpot, so that’ll be up to $212 million for Saturday’s drawing.
But for the Fantasy 5 evening draw, someone who bought a ticket at the Coconut Grove Milam’s Market, 2969 SW 32nd Ave., chose 1, 5, 6, 24 and 34. Those picks are worth $116,959.
Earlier in the day, a shopper at a Publix in the Fort Myers area, 1324 Homestead Rd. North, filled in 8, 19, 21, 25, and 31. That gave them a $59,130 winning ticket.
