A Publix sold Florida’s only Wednesday big money lottery jackpot winner
Wednesday’s Florida Lotto, Powerball and Fantasy 5 drawings produced three jackpot winners — one from Florida.
No one picked the correct six numbers in the Florida Lotto main drawing, pushing that big prize to $20.5 million for Saturday’s drawing.
And players in Indiana and Kansas chose 3, 19, 35, 51, 67 and a Powerball of 3, so they’ll split the $143 million Powerball jackpot.
The lucky Florida player, a shopper at a Sebring Publix at 2824 U.S. 27 South, chose 5, 23, 29, 31 and 33 for the Fantasy 5 evening drawing. That selection was worth $118,824.
This ticket must be cashed at one of the nine Florida Lottery offices. The closest office to Sebring is the Tampa office, which is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, at Centerpoint Business Park, 1911 U.S. 301 North.
