Wednesday’s only big money lottery draw winner was sold in South Florida

A Florida Lottery player hit the one jackpot among Wednesday’s Powerball, Fantasy 5 and Florida Lotto games.

Saturday’s big prizes for Powerball and Florida Lotto will be $35 million and $14.5 million, respectively, after no one matched those numbers Wednesday.

The lottery machine at Stop Wise, 9762 Gardens East Dr. in Palm Beach Gardens, spit out a Quick Pick ticket with 3, 14, 20, 22 and 31 for the Fantasy 5 evening drawing. That was a $119,105 winner for that ticket holder.

To redeem this ticket, the holder must go to one of the Florida Lottery district offices. The office in Palm Beach County is in Palm Springs, 4360 Forest Hill Blvd., and is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments, which aren’t required, can be made by calling 561-640-6190 or emailing WPBRC@flalottery.com.
