Big lottery winners — including Powerball — played in Miami-Dade and Delaware
A Powerball winner and a Fantasy 5 winner, one of which played in Kendall, started the week with Monday jackpots.
The $231 million Powerball jackpot went to the ticket with 7, 24, 37, 42 and 57 with a Powerball of 5, a ticket purchased in Delaware.
The Fantasy 5 evening drawing came up 1, 10, 20, 22, 23, numbers on a Quick Pick ticket bought at a West Kendall Chevron, 14700 SW 56th St. That $115,197 pile of luck will help ameliorate the pain of $4.19 per gallon gas, according to GasBuddy.com, at that station.
This ticket must be cashed at a Florida Lottery district office. The Miami district office is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments aren’t required, but can be made by calling 305-364-3080 or emailing MIARC@flalottery.com.
