If you were driving through Palm Harbor on Florida’s west coast and stopped to play the lottery, you may have bought a ticket from a charmed machine at Publix.

OK, there are no charmed store machines — but this one sure had a good day: Three winning tickets were sold at the store, nearly 300 miles and about five hours from Miami.

We don’t know if the same person bought three identical tickets or if three different people bet the winning numbers. But we do know they were sold Sunday, March 22, at the Publix store at 35439 US 19 North — a trio of lucky Fantasy Five winners on the midday draw of the daily game, according to the Florida Lottery.

The jackpot was $100,000.

So, the winners from Publix store #1340 each get to take home $33,333.33.

The numbers: 5-13-18-21-22.

Florida Lottery didn’t release any other details on the winning tickets.

Before you spend the equivalent cost in gasoline to haul over to that charmed Publix machine in the Riviere Plaza — you’ve seen gas prices — that machine quickly exhausted its winnings.

There were no winners in any of the Florida Lottery games in that same day’s evening draw when the numbers 7-10-15-19-32 hit.
