A Publix and a South Florida supermarket sold Monday’s lottery jackpot tickets
Of Monday’s three Florida Lottery-connected major money draw games, there were three jackpot wins, two of which came from Florida and one from South Florida.
Neither of the Floridians won the $249 million Powerball jackpot, which was taken by someone who played in Arkansas.
The first draw of the day, the Fantasy 5 midday drawing, got split 50-50 or, more accurately, $50,000-$50,000. Those amounts went to someone at Margate’s Supermercados El Bodegon, 8022 W Sample Rd., and the holder of a free Quick Pick ticket Charlotte County Publix at 13435 S. McCall Rd. Each ticket had 2, 5, 7, 16 and 22.
