A $1 million lottery winning ticket was bought at a South Florida Publix

Nobody won a jackpot or biggest prize in Monday’s Powerball, Cash4Life or Fantasy 5 drawings, but someone did win $1 million.

Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot will be $156 million after no one hit the Powerball — 4 — with 5, 27, 45, 56 and 59. But a Quick Pick ticket sold by the Publix at 1700 S. Congress Ave. in Palm Springs, near West Palm Beach, had those last five numbers without the Powerball, which is still good for $1 million.

This ticket must be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the nine district offices, such as the one in Palm Springs, just 2 1/2 miles from the Publix. That office is at 4360 Forest Hill Blvd., and can be reached at WPBRC@flalottery.com or 561-640-6190. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required.
