A lucky New Year’s Eve for two Florida Lottery winners, one in Fort Lauderdale

The last major money Florida Lottery draw games of 2025 — Powerball, Fantasy 5, Florida Lotto, Cash4Life — proved fortunate for players in Fort Lauderdale and Central Florida.

A player in the state of New York won $1,000 a week for life in Cash4Life Wednesday. The Florida Lotto jackpot will be at $12 million and Powerball at $64 million on Saturday after nobody hit those jackpots.

On the other hand, the Fantasy 5 evening drawing numbers, which came up 1, 5, 6, 29 and 34, matched two Quick Pick tickets: one from Fort Lauderdale’s Circle T Food Store, 522 NE Third Ave., and one from a Sunoco station in Ocala’s Summerfield area, 9945 SE State Rd. 42. Each ticket won $67,145.
