Was one of the 4 Florida jackpot winners the $1.7 billion Powerball winner?
Four Florida Lottery players had a jackpot-winning Nochebuena, one of them after buying a ticket at a South Florida supermarket that sold a $1 million Powerball winner earlier this week.
But none of those four got Wednesday’s biggest lottery prize: the $1.7 billion Powerball jackpot won by an Arkansas player who chose 4, 25, 31., 52 and 59 and the Powerball of 19.
Wednesday’s first drawing among Powerball, Florida Lotto, Cash4Life and Fantasy 5 games, the Fantasy 5 midday draw, got split three ways. The popular winning numbers — 2, 4, 7, 20, 33 — were chosen by people at a 7-Eleven in Palmetto, 4905 U.S. 41; a Jacksonville Publix, 13170 Atlantic Blvd.; and were on a Quick Pick ticket from the Key Food at 8251 Sunset Strip in Sunrise. Each ticket is worth $22,463.
That Broward Key Food sold a $1 million ticket that had the five base numbers in Monday’s Powerball drawing.

The Fantasy 5 evening drawing came up 12, 13, 15, 22 and 38, the numbers of choice for a player at a Pembroke Pines Publix, 170 S. Flamingo Rd. Those numbers are worth $125,833.
These tickets must be redeemed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the nine district offices. The closest one to the Pines Publix and the Sunrise Key Food is the office in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., which can be reached at MIARC@flalottery.com or 305-364-3080. Appointments can be made, but aren’t necessary.
