2 Publix stores, one in Miami, sold lottery winners. One was a Powerball hit
Saturday’s Florida Lotto, Fantasy 5, Cash4Life and the $1.5 billion Powerball games produced three jackpot winners and $1-million-dollar winners, two of which were from Miami-Dade.
But, nobody got lucky choosing their own numbers.
Also, nobody got lucky enough to hit the big Powerball jackpot, which will be up to an estimated $1.6 billion on Monday. The elusive numbers were 4, 5, 28, 52 and 69 with a Powerball of 20.
But, a Quick Pick ticket bought at what was the first Publix in Doral, 9755 NW 41st St., got the five basic numbers, which made that a $1 million ticket.

Two Quick Pick tickets, from the Valero at 3801 NW 12th Ave. in Miami and a Royal Palm Beach Publix, 127 S. State Road 7, shared the Fantasy 5 evening draw jackpot. Each ticket had 15, 16, 20, 24 and 32 and each is worth $64,365.
Saturday’s $60,047 Fantasy 5 midday jackpot all went to the holder of a fourth Quick Pick ticket, bought at the Speedway gas station at 9515 E. Gulf to Lake Highway in Inverness. The winning numbers were 18-21-26-31-33.
These tickets must be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the nine district offices. The Miami office can be found at 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
