Do you feel lucky? A Miami-Dade Publix sold a Thursday lottery jackpot winner
Only two Florida Lottery big money draw games, Cash4Life and Fantasy 5, get played on Thursdays. But there were two jackpot winners, both from Publix locations.
After the Fantasy 5 midday drawing jackpot went to a player at a Publix in Riverview, the evening drawing came up 1, 2, 3, 13, 24. That matched a Quick Pick ticket bought at a Kendall Publix, 12100 SW 127th Ave., a ticket that’s worth $106,827.
This ticket must be cashed at one of the Florida Lottery district offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Miami district office is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., and can be reached at MIARC@flalottery.com and 305-364-3080. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required.
Friday, in addition to Fantasy 5 and Cash4Life games, the Mega Millions drawing will have a $754 million jackpot, and Jackpot Triple Play will have a $600,000 top prize.
