Two of Wednesday’s lottery winning tickets came from South Florida Publix stores

With Powerball, Florida Lotto, Cash4Life and Fantasy 5 drawings, Wednesday is a big day for Florida Lottery big money draw games — and six players had a happy Hump Day.

None of those players took the top Powerball prize, which will be up to $400 million for Saturday’s drawing.

The Fantasy 5 midday draw numbers — 7, 16, 27, 29, 34 — were popular picks, chosen by a player at the Miami Beach Publix at 6876 Collins Ave.; a Silver Springs Winn-Dixie; a Pierson gas station; and the Quick Pick computer at a St. Augustine Publix.

That four-way split meant each ticket won $12,779.

The Fantasy 5 evening draw came up 4, 6, 11, 20 and 21, the numbers for a Publix shopper in Lighthouse Point, 2450 N. Federal Hwy., and a Lakeland RaceTrac gas station. Those were $54,425 winners.

These tickets have to be redeemed at Florida Lottery offices, two of which are in South Florida. The Miami office is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., and can be reached at 305-364-3080 or MIARC@flalottery.com. What’s called the “West Palm Beach District Office” is in Palm Springs, 4360 Forest Hill Blvd. It can be called at 561-640-6190 and emailed at WPBRC@flalottery.com. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required. Offices are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
