A free ticket in Miami-Dade turned into a Florida Lottery jackpot winner
The only jackpot winner among Monday’s Powerball, Cash4Life and Fantasy 5 draw games didn’t have to pay for the ticket.
A free Quick Pick ticket from Opa-locka’s Murphy Express gas station at 1380 Superior St./13730 NW 27th Ave. matched the Fantasy 5 evening draw numbers, 11, 18, 23, 28 and 36. That won the holder $101,972.
This ticket must be cashed at a Florida Lottery district office, such as the one in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln. It’s open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and can be reached by emailing MIARC@flalottery.com or calling 305-364-3080. Appointments can be made, but walk-ins are accepted also.
