Publix and other locations sell 4 lottery winners from Miami-Dade to Palm Beach
Two days of big money Florida Lottery draw games — Florida Lotto, Mega Millions, Jackpot Triple Play, Powerball, Cash4Life, Fantasy 5 — brought lottery luck to players from Kendall to Broward County to Palm Beach Gardens.
Nobody won Mega Millions or Jackpot Triple Play which will have jackpots worth, respectively, $547 million and $1.2 million on Tuesday.
Saturday’s Fantasy 5 midday draw, which came up 10, 17, 18, 19 and 24, was won by a player who chose those numbers at the Winn-Dixie at 8710 SW 72nd St. on the edge of Kendall. That was worth $59,492.
Saturday’s Fantasy 5 evening draw numbers — 5, 9, 12, 32, 33 — were on two Quick Pick tickets, one from store in Perry, the other at a Mobil in Palm Beach Gardens, 9890 Alternate A1A. Each of those tickets won $62,719.
A Quick Pick ticket from the Publix at 1170 Weston Rd. in Weston matched Friday afternoon’s Fantasy 5 draw numbers of 17, 20, 22, 30 and 33. Sharing that win with a Quick Pick ticket bought at a Port St. Lucie Shell station made each ticket a $29,586 winner.
The winner of Friday night’s Fantasy 5 evening draw didn’t have to share the jackpot. So, whoever chose 8, 21, 26, 31 and 36 at Baby Supermarket, 4805 NW 167th St. in Northwest Miami-Dade, has a $121,742 ticket.
These tickets must be cashed at one of the Florida Lottery offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required. The two offices in South Florida are in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., reachable at 305-364-3080 and MIARC@flalottery.com; and Palm Springs, 4360 Forest Hill Blvd., reachable at 561-640-6190 and WPBRC@flalottery.com.
