Only Florida Lottery jackpot winner was sold in South Florida

The only big-prize winner from Wednesday’s most lucrative Florida Lottery draw games — Powerball, Florida Lotto, Cash4Life, Fantasy 5 — played at a South Florida liquor store.

That player didn’t win the Florida Lotto jackpot, which will be at $35 million for Saturday’s drawing.

But a Quick Pick ticket bought Wednesday at A & M Discount Beverage, 8057 N. Military Trail in unincorporated Palm Beach County just outside Palm Beach Gardens, had the Fantasy 5 midday pull numbers of 8, 10, 18, 27 and 36. That lucky quintet is worth $52,585.

This ticket must be cashed at one of the Florida Lottery offices, which are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office in Palm Beach County is in Palm Springs, 4360 Forest Hill Blvd., and can be reached at 561-640-6190 or WPBRC@flalottery.com. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required.
