A Miami-Dade Publix sold Wednesday’s lone big money lottery draw game winner

A dry spell at the Florida Lottery big money jackpots for players in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach ended Wednesday, a day with Powerball, Fantasy 5, Cash4Life and Florida Lotto drawings.

The Florida Lotto top prize will be $33.5 million, and the Powerball jackpot will be $50 million for those Saturday drawings after nobody won either on Wednesday.

The Fantasy 5 evening draw numbers of 3, 10, 12, 15 and 33 were matched by a ticket bought at a North Miami Publix, 12800 Biscayne Blvd. Choosing those five numbers was worth $112,040.

South Florida’s last jackpot hit before Wednesday was Friday, when a Quick Pick ticket from a Pompano Beach 7-Eleven won the Cash4Life $1,000 A Week for Life prize.

These tickets must be cashed at one of the Florida Lottery offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Miami district office is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., and can be called at 305-364-3080 or emailed at MIARC@flalottery.com. Appointments can be made, but aren’t necessary.
