A Florida Lottery ticket worth $525,000 was sold in Broward. Did you get lucky?
The biggest winner from Tuesday’s Florida Lottery drawings — Fantasy 5, Mega Millions, Jackpot Triple Play, Cash4Life — bought their ticket at a Fort Lauderdale supermarket.
That player didn’t get the Mega Millions big prize, which will be $336 million on Friday. The Fantasy 5 evening draw jackpot got split between tickets bought at Publix stores in Palm Bay and Fort Myers.
But the Jackpot Triple Play numbers of 8, 19, 25, 27, 31 and 45 matched a Quick Pick ticket bought at Ideal Food Basket, 2750 Davie Blvd. That’s a $525,000 pile of financial fortune.
This ticket must be cashed at one of the Florida Lottery offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The nearest one to the Ideal Food Basket is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., and can be reached at 305-364-3080 or MIARC@flalottery.com. Appointments can be made, but aren’t necessary.
Wednesday’s Powerball drawing will have a jackpot estimated at $1.3 billion.
