Sunday’s Florida Lottery jackpot hits came from Miami-Dade and Broward

The day before Monday’s $1.1 billion Powerball drawing, Florida Lottery big money draw game players in South Florida found lucrative luck.

Nobody won the Cash4Life prizes. But, Sunday’s midday Fantasy 5 drawing came up 6, 17, 22, 24 and 29, numbers chosen by someone at the Chevron at 8698 Bird Rd. Those five choices are worth $51,866.

The evening drawing also had one winner and they didn’t even have to buy their ticket. A free Quick Pick ticket from a Hollywood Presidente Supermarket, 1510 S. Federal Hwy., won $97,582 by having the numbers 7, 21, 31, 34 and 36.

These tickets have to be cashed at a Florida Lottery office. The closest office to these sale locations is at 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes, and can be reached at MIARC@flalottery.com or 305-364-3080. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required.
