A lottery ticket that just won $1 million was sold at a South Florida store

Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and really big lottery draw games, as was the case in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing for a player in the Miami metro area.

The Powerball jackpot will be $234 million Saturday because no tickets had 5, 9, 25, 28 and 69 with a Powerball of 5. But a Quick Pick ticket bought at an unincorporated Palm Beach County 7-Eleven, 7479 Lake Worth Rd., did get the first five numbers. That’s worth $1 million.
