Someone playing the lottery at a South Florida Publix won $7 million

The only person in the Broward suburbs who won bigger than the Panthers did Monday night shops at a Publix, or at least plays their Florida Lottery games there.

Monday’s Cash4Life numbers — 6, 8, 28, 57, 60 with a Cash Ball of 3 — were on a Quick Pick ticket bought at the Weston Publix at Glade Crossing, 2465 Glades Cir. That’s a $1,000 per day for life hit.

Well, actually, $1,000 per day for at least 20 years. The winner can choose to take $365,000 per year for life, “life” being a minimum of 20 years, or a one-time, lump sum payment of $7 million.
