One lottery jackpot. Six winners. Three bought their tickets in Miami-Dade

Six Florida Lottery players from South Miami-Dade to near the Florida-Alabama border, shared the same thought and shared a Sunday Fantasy 5 jackpot.

The Fantasy 5 midday drawing of 7, 12, 16, 22 and 35 matched six tickets, none of which were Quick Picks.

The Miami-Dade tickets were bought at a Kendall Fresco y Mas, 15050 SW 72nd St.; a North Miami-Dade Winn-Dixie, 14900 NW Seventh Ave.; and the Murphy USA gas station at 17700 S. Dixie Hwy. The other tickets came from grocery stores in Pensacola (Red Dot) and Jacksonville (Snappy) and a gas station in Thonotosassa.

So many tickets on the midday drawing, which always has the smaller jackpot, meant each ticket was worth $8,843.21.

To cash these tickets, head for the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the district offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Miami district office is at 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes. Appointments aren’t required, but can be made by emailing MIARC@flalottery.com or calling 305-364-3080.
