Lottery winners sold in Hialeah and at Tampa area Publix stores 3 miles apart

Supermarket shoppers sharing the same instincts also shared the only big money draw jackpot won in Monday’s Florida Lottery games.

Nobody won Cash4Life at any level, and Wednesday’s Powerball big prize will be $30 million after no one held all those numbers. The Fantasy 5 evening draw also rolled over.

But the midday draw numbers — 7, 8, 18, 23, 26 — were chosen by shoppers at the Hialeah Fresco y Mas at 6500 W. Fourth Ave. (Red Road); the Publix at 3863 US 301 South in the Tampa suburb of Riverview; and another Riverview Publix 3 miles away at 11109 Winthrop Market St.

The split was $17,273 for each ticket.

These tickets must be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the Florida Lottery district offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required. The Miami district office is at 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes, and can be reached at 305-364-3080 or MIARC@flalottery.com. The Tampa office is at Centerpoint Business Park, 1911 U.S. 301 North, Suite 170, and can be called at 813-744-6134 or emailed at TAMRC@flalottery.com.
