Miami man claims $7 million lottery prize won by a ticket he bought at Publix
The owner of a big money Cash4Life ticket bought at a West Miami-Dade Publix has chosen to take his winnings as a $7 million one-shot payment, according to the Florida Lottery.
West Miami-Dade’s Armando Xiques-Abbadie bought a Quick Pick ticket at the Fountain Square Publix, 9951 W. Flagler St., for the Nov. 13 drawing and hit 12, 16, 22, 32 and 48 as well as the Cash Ball of 4. That gave Xiques-Abbadie the option of choosing $365,000 per year — $1,000 per day — for a minimum of 20 years or the $7 million lump sum.
Publix gets a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
