Wednesday’s only Florida Lottery jackpot winning ticket came straight out of Kendall

Someone who didn’t have to pay for the ticket or choose the numbers was the only jackpot winner among Wednesday’s Powerball, Florida Lotto, Cash4Life and Fantasy 5 drawings.

Saturday’s Powerball drawing will have a $378 million jackpot and the Florida Lotto will be up to $1.5 million after no one hit all those numbers Wednesday.

A Quick Pick free ticket from the Sunflex gas station at 12335 SW 112th St. matched the Fantasy 5 midday draw of 3, 12, 15, 16 and 20. That lucky quintet of numbers was worth $54,966.

This ticket will have to be cashed at either the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the district offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments aren’t necessary, but can be made. The Miami area district office is at 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes and reachable at MIARC@flalottery.com or 305-364-3080.
