Publix stores sold Tuesday’s two Florida Lottery jackpot tickets. One was in Broward

Tuesday’s jackpot winners among the Jackpot Triple Play, Mega Millions, Fantasy 5 and Cash4Life drawings had two things in common: They chose their numbers themselves and bought their tickets at Publix stores.

Hitting Friday’s Mega Millions draw will be a $277 million piece of good fortune, and the Jackpot Triple Play game will be up to $550,000 after no one hit either on Tuesday.

But after a Publix shopper in Wildwood took the Fantasy 5 midday drawing, the evening draw of 6, 10, 16, 33 and 36 was matched by a ticket bought at the Weston Publix in Country Isles Plaza, 1170 Weston Rd. The owner of that ticket takes all of the $115,687 jackpot.

This ticket must be redeemed at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee or at one of the district offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The nearest office to Weston is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., and can be reached at 305-364-3080 or MIARC@flalottery.com. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required.
