Saturday’s only Florida Lottery jackpot wins came from Publixes and a Broward newsstand
Of Saturday’s Powerball, Cash4Life, Fantasy 5 and Florida Lotto drawings, two jackpots were won, one from a ticket bought at Publix in Hallandale Beach and the other split between tickets sold at a longtime Fort Lauderdale bookstore and a Martin County Publix.
Monday’s Powerball jackpot will be worth $230 million after nobody hit all those numbers. Nobody got the big prizes in the Florida Lotto or Cash4Life draws.
The midday Fantasy 5 drawing, however, of 1, 5, 8, 11 and 19 was split between players of the same mind. Players at Bob’s News & Books, 1515 S. Andrews Ave. and a Publix in the Palm City area each chose 1, 5, 8, 11 and 19, each winning $29,865.
Saturday’s Fantasy 5 evening draw winner had the good luck of getting a free Quick Pick ticket with 17, 18, 25, 26 and 28 at the Publix at 1400 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd., and being the sole winner of a $130,346 jackpot.
These tickets must be cashed at the main Florida Lottery office in Tallahassee or one of the district offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The closest office to Bob’s News and the Hallandale Beach Publix is the Miami district office, 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes.
